No. Returns will not earn, and our payment to the nonprofit will be adjusted for returns. Because we pay quarterly to the nonprofit, we can adjust before the payment. We do not adjust payments once they are made.

Commission amounts are determined by each e-commerce merchant. Some of CafeGive’s e-commerce partners have very diverse product lines with a wide range of prices. These online stores offer different commissions for different product categories found on their site. Where the merchant's commission varies by product, we indicate that you can earn "up to" a certain percentage because the exact commission amount is based on your purchase.
Yes! You can earn for your cause with purchases at Travel Agencies, Airlines, Hotels and Car Rental Agencies featured on CafeGive. Airline tickets generally pay a flat fee, which varies by merchant. All these earnings are passed on to your non profit. Many travel merchants pay earnings only after a trip has been completed. Generally taxes, carrier/handling fees and other fees do not earn for your cause.
If you have an online store you routinely purchase from that you think would pair nicely with nonprofits and shopping for a cause, please let us know. Often gift card purchases do not allow you to earn for your cause. This is determined by each merchant. However, some gift card purchases do earn for your cause. To find out which ones do earn, please visit our Gift Cards that Earn shop page.
If the discount or special offer is found on the CafeGive site Deals and Coupons page, then the purchase definitely earns for your cause. Some merchants do not pay a percentage of the purchase price on purchases that take advantage of discounts or special offers made directly to you from the merchant (for example, via email.) Each merchant handles discounts and special offers according to their policy. Again, all special offers highlighted on the CafeGive site DO earn for your cause.
