SOLV

SOLV makes an essential impact on the health of Oregon's environment by providing opportunities to volunteers of all ages to restore and clean up our beloved natural spaces. This work includes volunteer experiences that build community, restore critical habitat, and instill an ethic of stewardship in all who participate.

We envision:

• Every Oregonian with a strong pride of place, understanding the impact of their stewardship efforts for the environment on their communities.
• A dedicated core of community volunteers taking responsibility for stewarding healthy ecosystems in Oregon.
• All students/Oregonians have access to opportunities for learning about nature and a desire to volunteer in the field.
• Students engaged in the classroom and in the field, taking pride in Oregon's natural assets and learning the skills of stewardship.
• Every community having a long term stewardship project focused on their local environment.
