Snow School
Winter Wildlands Alliance is the first and only national organization working on behalf of snowshoers, skiers, snowboarders, winter hikers, and other outdoor adventurers, addressing national issues that impact our winter wildlands. Our SnowSchool field trip program opens a wintry door to school age kids, introducing them to a hands-on learning experience in the snow.
Through SnowSchool, we bring the snow into the classroom and the class into the snow by providing snowshoes, a curriculum, and a structure to professional outdoor educators. As a fast growing national program, SnowSchool sites are as diverse as the energetic, creative, and talented people who run them.
