Seattle Works
Seattle Works offers people opportunities to serve as active volunteers, informed voters, savvy charitable donors and knowledgeable community leaders.
Last year alone, we engaged our participants in the following ways:
- facilitated 25,000+ hours of volunteer service, including 220 projects benefitting local organizations, a mentoring group, and a service trip to Thailand
- trained 140 people on stepping up to nonprofit boards and public commissions
- produced a nonpartisan Candidate Guide and two meet-the-candidate events
From one-time service projects to board training to dialogues with elected officials, we're here to get you connected.
A member of Hands On Network, our goal locally is to harness and enhance the energy, creativity and diversity of our participants to build a thriving community.
