Thank you for visiting Cafe Give's Breast Friends connection. We are honored to have you at our site. By purchasing from the vendors included in Cafe Give, a portion of your expenditure will be sent directly to Breast Friends.
One in eight women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in her lifetime. The other seven will know her. Our goal is to reach those seven in order to help the one. Since our inception in 2000, Breast friends has helped thousands of women in Oregon and SW Washington. We have received grant funding from Susan G. Komen for the Cure and Spirit Mountain. We have numerous community partners including NW Cancer Specialists, Epic Imaging, KUIK Radio, Portland Monthly Magazine, Brighton Collectibles, ImageInk, Whirlwind Publishing, Genentech, Astra Zeneca, Genomic Health, and TeamLogic.
2009 has been a year of major change for us as we begin to launch our programs into other communities. We have built affiliates in Florida, Mississsippi, Colorado and Southern California. We are hoping to launch affiliates in Seattle and Boise in the near future (2010.)
