The Inspiration Behind CafeGive
Our company arose out of the need for new fundraising ideas for nonprofits. The ability for nonprofits to tap into online-based fundraising has been limited by the cost and complexity of managing web transactions. That’s where CafeGive helps.
CafeGive lets consumers have their online purchases count for a cause and connect friends with the cause, easily raising funds for the cause. In essence we are changing the nature of simply asking for financial support to creating an e-commerce experience that benefits everyone.
CafeGive enables organizations to engage their volunteer base in a community that earns for them and extends their organization to the Internet with no cost and minimal effort. By joining CafeGive, causes can develop consumer advocates to promote the nonprofit.

Along with Morris, fellow founders, Laurie Price, chief operating officer, and Ketan Sampat, chief technology officer, are technology industry executives with a background in e-commerce operations. All have a passion for applying their business expertise to assisting nonprofit organizations.
